Guardian Weekender

Following on from my previous post about a forced change in my working process, here is an image I created for an article in The Guardian Weekender Magazine.

I had enjoyed the novelty of a new working method and was very pleased with the results so I decided to have another pop at it and see if it wasn’t a fluke. I was asked by Art Editor, Pauline Doyle to illustrate an article on ‘Morbid Curiosity’. The desire to look at something that is ordinarily quite disturbing.

I am quite happy with how my work is turning out at the moment, It has been a while since I have enjoyed the images I produce so I hope it stays this way for a little bit longer…we’ll see!
